A Letter From The Pastor 

In 1978, Faith Covenant started with a handful of people who dreamed of a different kind of church. They believed that God’s Word mattered. They believed that lost people mattered to God. They believed in loving relationships and that a community and its people could be changed for all eternity through passionately following Jesus Christ. This very church from the beginning, believed God was going to do Immeasurably More.

And 43 years later, God is still doing just that. People are being baptized. People are coming to know Jesus Christ for the first time. People are worshiping Him with fully surrendered hearts. People are engaging in small groups. People are praying for one another. Person after person is awakening to the powerful, transformational life that’s found in looking more like Jesus every day in every way. And while the stories of God’s goodness and greatness are being heard almost every week, we believe that God is still calling us to Immeasurably More. Faith Covenant has the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to not only finish out the dream of developing this piece of land for the cause of Christ but, more importantly, to build a launchpad for Jesus-led change in our lives, in our community, and in our world.

And so, I am asking you to pray for Faith Covenant and for our future. I’m asking you to dream with us about how future generations will be impacted by all that God is doing here. And I’m asking you to choose sacrifice and generosity instead of comfort and convenience. I want to personally invite you to join your church family in being part of this God-given dream of launching a legacy that will not only change our tomorrow’s, but the tomorrow’s of generations to come.

Space to Grow

Making disciples is one thing you can’t do in a hurry. It always takes longer than you think, costs more than you want to pay and is harder than expected. And yet, there is no greater joy this side of heaven. As our church has grown, we have simply run out of space to continue to foster the environments we believe are necessary to live into this Kingdom agenda. Nursery and children’s spaces are full.

Space for Deeper Relationships

We’re currently running three services on a weekend with no ability to run more. There is limited space for various teams and committees to meet in order to help our body stay on mission. We have no real gathering space where relationships can be formed and people can be prayed over between services and during various events. Our student and college-aged ministries are pushing the limits of the upstairs meeting spaces. We have multiple people in each office and some people with offices in storage closets. And that’s not even taking into account any of our desires to engage the community in a better way.

Space to Lean In

See, some churches believe making disciples is a “come and see” event. They need space for all of the programs they want to offer. Faith Covenant believes we have been called to “go and tell” lifestyles. Therefore, having space and environments that train the body of believers to lean into God’s calling on their lives to utilize their spiritual gifts in a way that reaches their jobs, schools, community organizations, sports teams and more with the Gospel of Jesus Christ is our highest priority. When that happens, everything changes. Every family, every city, every state
